There is a river that flows from deep within.
There is a fountain that frees the soul from sin.
Come to these waters, there is a vast supply.
There is a river that never shall run dry.
These are the lyrics to the song "There Is A River " by Max and David Sapp. I thought they described Living Water well. Isaiah tells us about how Christ is the "Living Water."
"For he [Christ] that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of [living] water shall he guide them." (Isaiah 49:10) Those who hunger and thirst will be fed and be lead to the living water. "I [Christ} will open rivers [living water] in high places [temples], and fountains [living water] in the midst of the valleys [churches]: I will make the wilderness a pool of [living] water, and the dry land springs of [living] water." (Isaiah 41:18)
President Romney teaches about another source for living water, “But there is another reason why we should read [The Book of Mormon], by doing so we will fill and refresh our minds with the constant flow of that ‘water’ which Jesus said would be in us—‘a well of water springing up into everlasting life.’ (John 4:14.) We can obtain a continuing supply of this nourishing water when resist evil and drink/read from the pages of the scriptures.
